History on Forever 21

Forever 21 when it first opened back in 1984 was called Fashion 21. It was opened in Los Angeles, California by Do-Won Chang and his wife, Jin-Sook. Since sales had increased after the first year they expanded the store layout and changed their name to Forever 21. In 1989 with their 11th store opening, it was the first Forever 21 to be located inside a mall in Panorama City, California. In 1995 they expanded and ventured out of California to Miami Florida. Since every six months they open a new store by the time of 1997 there were 40 stores. Forever 21 also has chain stores such as Forever XXI, For Love 21, and Gadzooks. As off 2005 there are over 355 stores nation wide.

Favorite Retailer

Personally my favorite retailer at this moment is Forever 21. My first reason of why I like the store is because most of the time the clothes are very organized and easy to find things. They usually separate different styles together, so its easier to find . I especially like the Forever 21 in Greensboro compared to the one in Concord because the one in Concord is so crammed together I don't even bother going to that store. The 2nd reason why I like Forever 21 is because of the layout. I really how bright it is and mostly everything in there is white which makes the clothes stand out more. I really like stores that do that.

My 3rd reason why is because the clothing is really modern and up to style. If I ever see something I like in magazines that I know is $300 for just a shirt I know Forever 21 would have the same style. My 4th reason why is because the clothes are really affordable for a college student like me who doesn't have that much money. And the 5th and final reason I like Forever21 is because of the variety. They have so many different styles that just about any person could find what they are looking for in there.
